Wow, this new Godzilla movie looks beautiful. That whole skydiving sequence looks so pretty and I like the cinematography a lot. I also really like seeing the new Godzilla design in motion (albeit very shortly) and he looks really good in an updated-old-school-design-kinda-way. I know we all have a bad taste in our mouth for Godzilla after Roland Emmerich’s crapfest but I have faith in Gareth Edwards who did a phenomenal job on the low-budget Monsters. I really like Bryan Cranston and Elizabeth Olsen and am excited to see them in a big genre movie. We’ve got great talent in front of and behind the camera so I’m hoping for nothing but the best. Godzilla destroys theaters on May 16, 2014.
