Peter Dinklage (Game of Thrones) has been brought aboard X-Men: Days of Future Past in an unknown role.  Internet speculation points to a character named Puck, a a dwarf member of Canada’s mutant team Alpha Flight, and Modok has been brought up as a possibility as well. (Bryan Singer)

Walt Disney Pictures and Marvel Studios have revealed a brand new Iron Man 3 poster featuring Don Cheadle’s James Rhodes character sporting the Iron Patriot armor. (/Film)

A teaser trailer for The Wolverine looks to be targeting a debut in front of prints of G.I. Joe: Retaliation on March 29.  The James Mangold directed superhero film opens in theaters on July 26. (SuperHeroHype)

MGM is set to reboot The Shrinking Man after acquiring the rights with intention of making an updated version of the story that was first adapted on-screen in 1957 as The Incredible Shrinking Man.  Richard Matheson, who wrote the original novel, has been brought on board to write the screenplay with his son Richard Matheson Jr.  They will be keeping the original tone of the story but updating it for modern times. Mark Neveldine, co-director of such films Crank 2: High Voltage and Ghost Rider 2: Spirit of Vengeance, has been hired to direct The Vatican Tapes.  The project will be Neveldine’s first solo effort as a director and is said to be about leaked top secret tapes of an exorcism gone wrong. (Variety)

Amanda Seyfried (Les Miserables) is in negotiations to join Seth MacFarlane’s A Million Ways To Die In The West as the girlfriend who skips out on MacFarlane after he backs out of a gunfight.  If the deal goes through, she would be joining Charlize Theron in the western comedy. (Hollywood Reporter)

New promotional art for Bryan Fuller’s new NBC TV show Hannibal.  Pictured is Mads Mikkelsen, who is playing the infamous Hannibal Lecter in the series.  The pilot, directed by David Slade (30 Days of Night), has no premiere date yet. (Spoiler TV)

Downton Abbey star Dan Stevens is in talks to co-star with Liam Neeson in A Walk Among The Tombstones.  The film follows an ex-NYPD officer (Neeson) who is now a private investigator hired to find the kidnapped wife of a drug dealer.  He soon finds out the perpetrators have done this before, resulting in several murders. Peter Sarsgaard has joined the cast of the newly revived third season of AMC’s The Killing as Tom Seward, a death row inmate for whom the clock is ticking down.  He joins returning stars Mireille Enos and Joel Kinnaman and new cast members Elias Koteas and Max Fowler. (Deadline)

Wreckin’ Hill Entertainment has picked up North American rights to Gallowwalkers, a sci-fi horror actioner starring Wesley Snipes.  The story follows a cursed gunman besieged by an army of the undead: the risen corpses of the men he has killed. (Hollywood Reporter)

The CW Network has announced that it has renewed three of its popular series, Arrow, The Vampire Diaries and Supernatural.  The shows will return for their second, fifth and ninth season respectively in the fall. (Hollywood Life)

In a recent interview, Captain America actor Stanley Tucci stated that Haley Atwell will reprise her role of Peggy Carter in a cameo in the upcoming Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier. (Collider)

A new UK trailer for the remake of Maniac is now online.  Elijah Wood stars in the film which looks to open sometime in 2013.
