The first official trailer for the independent horror film, Scream Park, is now online (and embedded below). The film is a “retro 80s-style slasher film about an amusement park closing for the last time. The owner, played by Doug Bradley (Hellraiser, Hellbound: Hellraiser II), devises a scheme to have a pair of killers commit gruesome murders in the park as a publicity stunt to sell tickets. The victims are a group of employees partying in the park after hours.” The film also features Skinny Puppy lead singer Kevin “Ogre” Ogilvie (REPO: The Genetic Opera, The Devil’s Carnival).
Back in April I did a brief interview with the director, Cary Hill, before they began production on the film, which you can read here. They’ve now finished principle photography, have a completed score/title theme and are now entering the post-production phase. I’m looking forward to seeing the completed film and will be keeping an eye on Scream Park’s further development. In addition to the trailer, I’ve included some production stills from the film, of which you can find more of over on the Scream Park Facebook page.
